FORT BRAGG, NC - HIRED! has come to Fort Bragg. This apprenticeship program provides 15-18 year old youth with meaningful, professionally-managed career-exploration opportunities in Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) operations. The program offers valuable paid work experience and training to better equip each participant with the skills needed for a highly-competitive job market. Youth will receive exploratory work experience in a selected career path as well as workforce preparation training and college exploration workshops. The program is designed to prepare youth for life after high school. The first of many workshops will be held August 17, 19 and 21. Students will have the opportunity to explore career choices, set goals, and learn valuable skills in resume writing and interview skills and how to dress for success. The workshop will run from 9-11:30 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday and 1-3:30 p.m. on Friday. The workshop is free and open to youth with valid CYSS registration card.
